KFRG on the dial

[This is our original FrogBlog post on the HTBAF MySpace site.]

Check 1,2. Check.

OK, it's February 2nd, 2007, first transmission from KFRG, The Frog on your radio dial. Today's the day that the UN brought out their "smoking gun" report on global warming -- the day after Exxon announced its most profitable year EVER -- and the news is that the debate is over: global warming is real, it's bad, and it's our fault. "An Inconvenient Truth" is up for an Oscar, and Al Gore has just been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize -- I predict he'll win, mmmm, both.

The newspapers are packed with terrifying predictions about the future of life on this planet (for any organism more complicated than a cockroach), every politician in North America is going to try to win the next election by being greener than the Hulk, and there are so many documentaries about global warming coming out that you'll actually be able to build a raft out of them when the ocean hits your front door! So why make one MORE movie about it? I mean, government's on the case now, and even Exxon has sorrrrrta kiiiiinda admitted that they used to pay people to confuse us about global warming, but definitely won't do that anymore. So we're saved, right? Wrong.

The fact is, for all the good things that are happening, we aren't even close to doing what we need to do, by the time we need to do it. Oh, great! If Al Gore and the UN and the government can't fix the problem, what can I do? I'm just one person! That's exactly the question we are gonna answer. In fact, we're gonna show you how to be a hero, by making trouble and saving the planet at the same time. Hop on THAT!
